For example, the stored preference may indicate:
Analytics accepted; or
Analytics rejected.
This storage is necessary so that the website can remember your privacy choice and avoid asking you to make the same decision on every page visit.
It is not used for advertising or behavioural profiling.
4. Framer Analytics
HK Lab Studio uses Framer Analytics to understand general website usage and performance.
Framer states that its built-in Analytics does not use cookies and does not generate persistent identifiers.
Because this service is cookie-free, it remains active regardless of whether you accept or reject optional Google Analytics.
5. Google Analytics
HK Lab Studio also uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) as an optional analytics service.

Google Analytics is not loaded when you first visit the website.
The Google Analytics script is loaded only after you choose to allow Analytics through our privacy controls.
Google states that GA4 JavaScript uses first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions, including the _ga cookie.
Depending on Google Analytics behaviour and configuration, cookies associated with Google Analytics may include:

HK Lab Studio does not use Google Analytics for advertising or personalised marketing on this website.
6. Your analytics choice
When you first visit HK Lab Studio, you are given a choice to:

Optional Analytics is disabled until you choose to allow it.
If you reject Analytics:
Google Analytics is not loaded;
Google Analytics cookies are not intentionally created by HK Lab Studio;
your rejection is remembered for future visits.
If you accept Analytics:
Google Analytics is loaded;
analytics data may be collected through Google Analytics;
Google Analytics may create first-party analytics cookies in your browser.
7. Changing your preference
You can change your choice at any time by selecting Cookie Settings in the footer of the HK Lab Studio website.
Changing your preference does not require you to create an account or contact us.
If you previously accepted Analytics and later disable it:
your preference is changed to Analytics disabled;
known first-party Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* are removed where technically possible;
Google Analytics will not be loaded on subsequent page loads while Analytics remains disabled.
If Google Analytics has already been loaded in the current browser document, its JavaScript cannot necessarily be completely removed until the page is reloaded or you navigate away.
You can re-enable Analytics at any time through Cookie Settings.
8. Browser demo and itch.io
The Axirune browser demo is provided through itch.io.
The itch.io game embed is not loaded automatically when you visit the HK Lab Studio website. It is loaded only after you choose to start the browser demo.
Once the itch.io content is loaded, itch.io may use its own cookies, storage, or other technologies in accordance with its own policies.
9. Managing cookies through your browser
Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies and other stored website data through their privacy or site settings.
Blocking or deleting browser storage may cause the website to forget your saved privacy preference, which may cause the consent interface to appear again.
