HK Game Localization Handoff Builder

HK Game Localization Handoff Builder is a local browser-based utility designed to help game developers organize localization strings and supporting context before sending them to translators.

Import localization data from CSV, XLSX or JSON files, then review and manage each string’s key, source text, type, speaker, context, screen or location, translator notes and character limits.

Screenshots can be attached directly to individual strings to give translators additional visual context. The built-in validation system checks handoff completeness and highlights blocking errors and warnings before export.

When the project is ready, the tool builds a translator handoff package containing an XLSX localization handoff, standalone HTML reference, screenshots folder, glossary CSV and manifest JSON — packaged together in one ZIP.

Projects can also be saved locally and reopened later using the HKLO project format.
